Daniel Phelps, General Partner

Dan Phelps continues as a General Managing Member of Duchossois Technology Partners (DTEC) and is the Managing Director of Salt Creek Capital leading investments in profitable services companies.

Dan was a Partner and a founding member of DTEC where he focused primarily on networking, software and system investments. Dan still leads the investments in Infoblox, NetNearU, and Rubicon Genomics. Dan led several DTEC investments, including Intellon (ITLN, acquired by Atheros), Mobilitec (acquired by Lucent) and NextHop (acquired by U4EA).

Before joining DTEC, Dan spent five years at the Pritzker Financial Office in Chicago, where his responsibilities focused on principal investments in more mature operating companies. Previously, he was in the financial services group at Ernst & Young.

Dan holds a BSBA from The Ohio State University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
